The thought of working out consistently can be unimaginable to many. Even if you've set your mind to make it possible, it can be hindered by unexpected events however beating yourself out for not being able to workout consistently is not the way to go.

We're humans after all, so it takes time to workout consistently and makes a habit out of it. Once you overcome that mental hurdle, it will start getting more enjoyable and worthwhile.

Applying these tips to your daily life can be your starting point. So let's get into it.

Making Realistic Goals

Make sustainable goals rather than superficial goals because it will get you dishearted and make you lose interest, which is the opposite of what we desire.

Make simple and attainable goals like being able to do 1 min plank, being able to do push-ups, and such. Rather than wishing for a ripped body or an hourglass figure, make it your goal to have a strong core, flexibility, mobility, and strength and the rest will come your way in the long run. An increase in each repetition or set would in turn give you immense and instant gratification, which would keep you going.

Finding what works for you

It is important to find out what works best for you. Trying different workouts like cardio training, resistance training, yoga, flexibility training, pilates, sports, and so on.

It can be boring to stick to one type of workout throughout and hence, initially, it is going to be a process of trial and error or even mix and match of all these. So, finding what keeps you hooked is important to be consistent in your workout routines.

Instilling Healthy Practices

Waking up and having a glass of water on an empty stomach, and having a recommended amount of sleep are just as important because it relieves your muscles, body, and mind.

Being calorie-conscious can build up stress and frustration over time and therefore the better way to go about is by eating in the right quantity. Befriend someone to hit the gym together or someone who motivates you to always be consistent in your workout
